Mom Dayna Childress of Springboro, Ohio, who sᴜғғᴇʀᴇᴅ three ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇs became pregnant with quadruplets just as she was about to give up on having more children. Now, she’s celebrating Christmas with four two-year-olds in chaos.
The family marked the festive season with a giant frosted Christmas tree and matching outfits for their brood of children. Dayna previously explained she had been trying for one sibling for her firstborn son – but ended up with four babies. She became pregnant with her first child Lincoln in 2015 after less than a month of trying. When Lincoln was nine months old, she and her husband Colby, 27, decided to try and expand their family. Seven months later, she discovered she was pregnant, but ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴇᴅ at six weeks. A became pregnant twice more, with both ending in a ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴀɢᴇ. Two subsequent pregnancies, both ᴍɪsᴄᴀʀʀɪᴇᴅ. Dᴇsᴘᴇʀᴀᴛᴇ, the stay-at-home mother was ᴘʀᴇsᴄʀɪʙᴇᴅ ғᴇʀᴛɪʟɪᴛʏ ᴅʀᴜɢs, which she took for another year before she ᴄᴏɴᴄᴇɪᴠᴇᴅ again. At five weeks, an ultrasound revealed the couple were expecting quadruplets. Otto, Willow, Simon and Willis were born on June 29 after 28 weeks and six days.

Dayna said:” The first ultrasound showed four sacs, but we could only see two babies with ʙᴇᴀᴛɪɴɢ ʜᴇᴀʀᴛs, so I thought it would only be twins at the most, so I was delighted about that but even happier about quads. The babies were born in June, Simon weighed 3lbs 2oz, then the other three were 2lbs 14oz each.” Mum of five including quad two-year-olds, explained that Christmas outings are stressful and chaotic, but they do them anyway – despite the children being too young to remember.

Dayna ,took her five children to see Santa at a grotto but confessed to finding the outing tough as the children outnumbered the adults. She explained that the children didn’t want to queue for hot chocolate and fussed on the drive over. She said: “Quickly learning doing anything outnumbered by toddlers in their #terribletwos stage will be hard. Though these outings can be really stressful on my husband and I, there’s always more smiles than stress in the long run. It’s worth the memories. I don’t even care if they won’t remember all these events and trips we take them on, I have pictures and videos to show them. Mama & Daddy will be their memory keepers, we’ll have all the little stories to tell them of their childhood.”

In videos on her TikTok account, Dayna shows snapshots into other elements of their family life, including the sleeping arrangement for her quadruplets. She also gave social media users insight into their birthday celebrations and busy playtime. Merry Chrismas, Thanks God !
